In recent weeks, a few large concerts took place in Nijmegen (Netherlands) where drones were not welcome. For the safety of the concertgoers, the organization enlisted Bavak. Bavak installed Drone Detection equipment that activates an alarm as soon as a drone is detected. The drone, its pilot, and all relevant data (altitude, home position, serial number, etc.) are then displayed in real-time on a map, allowing authorities to quickly intervene. This intervention prevents potential incidents with drones falling into the crowd and/or unwanted recordings (bootlegs). Thanks to this technology, visitors can enjoy the concerts undisturbed.
