Port Authority Chooses Bavak for Security Installations at Port of Moerdijk

Moerdijk Port Authority has entrusted Bavak Security Group with the service and maintenance of all security installations for the next four years. Following a tendering process, Bavak proved to be the best choice to handle the management and maintenance of outdoor technology and to further expand it in the coming years. Last year, the port authority already partnered with Bavak for the security of the Moerdijk Logistics Park. Bavak replaces Securitas with this new agreement.

To ensure safety and security of the port and industrial area without relying solely on one party, the port authority has chosen to allocate different aspects to different parties going forward. As previously announced, starting from May 1st, EBN Veiligheidsdienst will provide security personnel, while Bavak Security Group will be the partner for the management and maintenance of all structural and electronic security measures. The agreement has a duration of four years and can be extended up to 2032.

The scope of the collaboration with Bavak includes the management, maintenance, and possible further development of the security technology deployed in the field, such as camera networks, fences, speed gates, intercoms, and sensors.
