Portable X-ray for inspection of objects of special locations
Bavak is distributor of the MINI Z® system. The MINI Z® is the most powerful handheld Z Backscatter imaging system that makes organic threats and contraband visible.
The MINI Z® is used for scanning objects at places that are difficult to reach such as dashboards of cars, walls, a compartment in a plain or an abandoned suitcase at a station.
The system is fully autonomous, battery operated (4 hours battery charge) and has built-in wireless communications (Wi-Fi). It does not require a set-up and is immediately ready for use. All images are displayed in real-time on a specific tablet. The MINI Z® has the possibility to manually compose images, the so-called ‘stitching’ image.
The optional detection panel allows operators to obtain either a transmission image or an enhanced Z Backscatter image. Through the Backscatter images, it is also possible to display organic material. This makes the Z Backscatter technique ideal for detecting drugs.
