Shallow Mount Sliding Bollard – Bavak
Soon, Bavak complete a special project with Shallow Mount Sliding Bollards which are fully crash rated (PAS68). The unique aspect about this project is that it will be the first installed installation in the Netherlands with no less than 4 Sliding Bollards next to each other. When the Bollards slides aside, a perfect opening of almost 7 meters wide is created so that vehicles can pass through.
The advantage of Shallow Mount Sliding Bollards is the very low installation depth. Therefore, the Sliding Bollards can be placed in areas where it is not an option to go deep into the ground, such as situations with many cables and pipes underground. It is even possible to install the Shallow Mount Bollards above carparks.
Before installation of the Shallow Mount Bollards, a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) takes place. With this FAT, the Bollards will be evaluated if everything is built and operating in accordance with the design specification.
