This new Speedgate was conceived and designed by Marike Heye from Bavak and is specifically developed for parking garages. The patent application for the comprehensive concept is in process. In many parking garages, the current setup consists of a combination of a barrier and a Speedgate. During the day, the Speedgate remains open while the barrier regulates traffic in and out of the garage. In the evenings and at night, the Speedgate secures the garage to prevent unauthorized access. While this configuration is functional, it also presents challenges in terms of installation, space usage, and maintenance.

The Bavak B-Park provides a smart and efficient solution by integrating the barrier and Speedgate into one cohesive system. This results in immediate benefits, starting with installation: where previously two installations were necessary, now only one is required. This means less wiring, reduced civil work, and a lower risk of delays. Additionally, it saves space by requiring only one system instead of two separate components. Maintenance is also made simpler and more cost-effective, as there is only one installation to service.
